Cost & Payment
This is a ‘not for profit’ programme and we have no intention of gaining any personal financial reward from undertaking this work. However as you will have realised, good mental health is extremely important to us and so to register on a 2 hour online course, we would kindly ask you to make a minimum donation of £25 for an individual booking onto a course (and an additional £10 per person thereafter for others included in that booking ) to the Beer-Harris Memorial Trust; a small charity which supports projects and research, benefiting people suffering from severe mental illness. Your donation will go directly to this Trust.
In order to manage expectations and to ensure the courses are delivered professionally and within our capabilities, the two hour courses will contain the following structure and content:
Course 1- Discovering your Type
This is an appetiser or introduction to the Enneagram. It can be a springboard for a one day in person course or to Course 2. This course covers a brief history of the Enneagram and an introduction to the nine types, with their chief features, characteristics, default thinking and behaviour. We will briefly discuss the places where each type goes to in stress and security. A table with brief descriptions of the types and an Enneagram diagram will be supplied.
Before taking this course if you do not already have an understanding of your likely Enneagram type we would recommend you take an online test. Tests you might consider are The Essential Enneagram Test (costing $10) or the Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator (costing $12).

Course 2 – Subtypes
This is an opportunity for the individual to confirm their Enneagram type and discuss their experiences of learning about their type, in other words, ‘share their story’. There is more time to learn about the wings and the places where each type goes to in stress and security and we will introduce the concept of the subtypes, another set of behaviours we use as coping strategies. Support information explaining subtypes will be supplied, along with a table containing concise details about each Enneagram type’s subtypes.

Course 3 – Levels of Health
Revisiting and reviewing the concept of subtypes, this is where we learn how our chosen subtype relates to our Enneagram type with delegates having the opportunity to explore and discover how we each use the subtypes in daily life. We will return to the patterns of default thinking and behaviour, exploring where they stem from and recognising triggers that set them off. There will be an introduction to the different levels of health for each key type and a chance to identify strategies for optimum health. Notes on the levels will be supplied.

Course 4 – Defence Mechanisms
This course focuses on the integrative process of identifying our default thinking and behaviour, reflecting on the triggers and developing strategies, which can be embedded into our daily life. This transformative stage of the Enneagram will be facilitated by individual and group exercises, which can promote the return to our Essence or True Self. Activity sheets will be supplied.
